Nature's answer to Nature's needs

Introduction
Response is a non-toxic, foliar feed, seaweed based fertilizer derived from red and brown self-regenerating seaweeds indigenous to the coastlines of New Zealand. These particular seaweeds are rich in minerals, amino acids, trace elements and natural plant stimulants known to promote the vigorous growth and rooting of plants. Stringent quality control procedures, commencing with the selection and grading of the raw seaweed combined with continous testing throught the extraction process, ensures the content of these critical elements in Response and their availability to promote healthy plant growth. If you want to find out how you can achieve award-winning results with Response (like the lettuce to the left), then scroll below for all the information you need.

Foliar Feeding
Before you begin reading more detailed information, we here at AG Response Ohio feel it important to address the concept of foliar feeding. Oftentimes, people will simply ignore or disbelieve the fact that a plant also garners a great deal of nourishment through its leaves. University testing, however, has shown that plants can not only be nourished through their leaves, but that leaf feeding can be ten times more efficient than root feeding. In addition, Response, when used as a foliar feed increases the plant's root structure and the leaf size which facilitates the uptake of nutrients from the soil and enhances the photosynthesis process. Once you accept this theory, one realizes how powerful Response is when used in conjunction with normal ground fertilization.

Why Response works

Type of Seaweed-
The particular seaweed, pterocladia lucida, which is processed to formulate Response is only found three places in the world and is known to contain a large array of minerals, trace elements, amino acids and stimulants which facilitate plant growth.

Consistent High Quality-
Response is a by-product of an extraciton process whose primary product is used in the health care and science fields to grow the most fastidious of organisms. Since the primary product must meet stringent quality specifications, not only is the raw seaweed graded and inspected but the entire extraction process is monitored and tested insuring a consistent, high quality product.

NPK Content-
Since the NPK (nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium) content of seaweeds is naturally low, competitive seaweed products have frequently been combined with other products to obtain a more beneficial NPK content. The NPK content in Response has been boosted and thus it is not necessary to supplement the NPK content.

Chelated Micronutrients-
By supplementing the seaweed extract base, the proper balance of these chelated trace elements has been ensured. When the metallic elements (molybdenum, copper, manganese, iron, boron and zinc) are linked or joined with the respective protein masses, they become activated enzymes. The chelated status of the critical elements enhances their ability to enter the leaf and to be transported throughout the plant.

Amino Acids-
Reponse provides a full compliment of amino acids which are required to form proteins, the principal organic substances found in living cells. The red seaweed used in the production of Response is known to contain 2 to 3 times the amount of the main acidic amino acids than that found in the more typical brown seaweed species. Two of the amino acids, tryptophane and glutamic acid are known to be instrumental in the formaiton of niacin and raw auxin (indoleacetic acid), which play critical roles in plant metabolism.
