Effectiveness of Response Foliar Feeding
While the principle function of the leaf is photosynthesis and respiration, it is also a very effective organ for nutrient uptake. There are mechanisms in the leaf which provide for nutrient passage through its layers into the metabolism of active cells. It has been technically proven that chelated micronutrients can enter the leaf freely and are immediately transported to areas where they are needed. The key to proper nutrition is making the proper nutrients available to the plant and ensuring their uptake and accumulation.
The photograph below of a cross section of a leaf shows very visibly the pores through which the leaf absorbs foliar fed materials.

When used as directed as a foliar feed Response increases the plant's root structure and leaf size which facilitates the uptake of nutrients from the soil and enhances the photosynthesis process.
Response has produced excellent results on all types of plants. When used with other spray materials Response has been shown to actually enhance the effectiveness of these other materials.
The pictures below show the impact Response can make on root development and overall plant health.
The plant on the right was treated with Response. Notice how the foliage is much greener.

The photo below shows the root structure of the same two plants. Which one do you think was treated with Response? (We'll give you a hint: it was the one on the right!)
